Court Jester Pub has announced its takeover of recently shuttered Danforth tavern, Zorba's. Pub owner Lawrie Kaplansky aims to open an old-fashioned deli in the front of the newly acquired space. In the back half, Kaplansky plans to replicate the atmosphere of the already established pub with darts, pinball, and board games alongside 16 draught lines. The pub plans to open up by October after 19 years in the current location. [blogTO]
