Remys Yorkville Likely to Relaunch as Members Club

Remys— the Yorkville staple that shuttered earlier this year— appears to be nearing completion on its reno. The website reads, "The new Remys will be more than just a restaurant, it'll be a total experience of unparalleled cuisine, fine art, impeccable service, and of course, an amazing company." Renderings of the new space suggest the décor will finally catch up with this century, and in true Yorkville style, the facelift will take a hundred years off.

Here's where it gets interesting. In addition to the revamp, a second website and some digging indicates a name change to Montage, a members only club. The websites homepage plays seven Hollywood movie clips including; Wall Street, Fight Club, and The Hangover as well as two sports clips. A downloadable application states fees are set to $2500 per annum and photography including "selfies" is forbidden.
