King+ Condos Save Heritage Hotel; Home Auction Axed; More!

DISTILLERY DISTRICT— A local developer will incorporate a 150-year-old heritage-listed hotel into the podium of a new condo development at King and Sherbourne streets. King+ Condos will see 132 units in a 17-storey building, with the old National Hotel serving as part of its lobby.

YORKVILLE— When a mysterious millionaire announced he was selling his two luxury homes at an exclusive, cocktail-fuelled auction at the Four Seasons, eager would-be bidders (and rubberneckers) were breathless with anticipation. Instead, a secret buyer snapped both properties up just days before the auction was to be held.
