Patrick Blessing of The Pie Commission talks to Toronto Standard about all things pie. On the trend, he says, "I see it as similar to the burrito craze of ten years ago, or the poutine craze that started five or six years ago. I think we've come to a point where people don't want to go to a place that claims they do a hundred different things well. We claim to do one thing really well and that's making meat pies, and that's all we want to do." [TS]
