Follow Friday is a series that picks one notable person on Twitter and Instagram, plus a Blog, that should be followed for one great reason or another.
Twitter: Black Camel. Want to make sure the popular sandwich spot isn't sold out of buns before making the trek to Rosedale? Then this is the Twitter feed for you. The routine posts read like a countdown ("We have x buns remaining."), but don't wait too long, or you'll end up reading "WE ARE NOW SOLD OUT!!! We regret any inconvenience." (hyperlink the quotation: twitter.com/black_camel/status/472874341936685056) Consider yourself warned. Follow them at @black_camel.
Instagram: Blackbird Baking Co. Since setting up shop in Kensington Market at the end of April, this bakery has amassed over 14,000 followers on Instagram. And it's easy to understand why: aside from the owners of Michelin-starred restaurant The Spotted Pig co-owning the shop, the sheer variety of breads speak for themselves. Follow them at @bbirdco.
Blog: Lookbook Cookbook. Food and fashion collide on Canadian model Jessica Milan's blog, where she documents recipes and photographs models tasting the results. Check out the blog here.
Do you have a favourite food follow on Twitter or Instagram? How about your top food blogs? Tell us in the comments or email toronto@eater.com. Your pick could end up in Follow Friday.
