British chef and TV host Jamie Oliver plans to bring his international restaurant chain Jamie's Italian to Canada— starting with north Toronto. The first of "as many as ten locations" will open in the Yorkdale Shopping Center next spring, and partner restaurant group King Street Food Company tells The Globe and Mail that all ten should be open in the next five years.

The Yorkdale outpost of the fast-casual sit-down restaurant "will be overseen in large part by King Street's executive chef Rob Gentile." Expect "as much local produce as possible" at the Italian restaurant.
