FINANCIAL DISTRICT— The folks at Drake One Fifty are helping the fight against food court lunches in the Financial District with the Side Door Special every Tuesday this summer starting today. Beginning at noon sharp, the takeout lunch is offered through the patio side door and includes a sandwich (like a lobster roll), summertime drink (like a slushie) and a snack pack of Drake Crunch, a mix of caramel corn, salty-sweet peanuts, and cayenne pepper— with a prize! FOOD TV— The season two open casting call for Masterchef Canada will run July 12 and July 13 starting at 7 a.m. each day. Television chef hopefuls are to bring one prepared dish to plate in front of the judges at room temperature. [CTV]
