LITTLE ITALY— Here's a strange house in Little Italy—it's a detached Victorian, typical for the neighbourhood yet the house has an indoor swimming pool. What kind of house near College Street has an indoor pool. The house on Shaw Street is listed for $1.2 million and you'll want to check out the photos.
SOLD STUFF— Another very strange house, this time in North York. From the outside, the home looks perfectly normal but inside, there is a massive blue slide in the living room (instead of a staircase). This house is the ultimate kids play area, and the new owners say they love the blue slide. The house recently sold $75K over its asking price.
URBAN GARDENS— Here are 15 hidden gardens and secret courtyards around the city. The Toronto weather will one day be warm, so pack a book and a picnic basket and head to one of these little known urban getaways.
AWARD WINNERS— The winners of the Governor-General's Medals in Architecture were recently announced and out of the 12 awards, five Toronto buildings made the cut. From Centennial College and Athletic Wellness Centre to Rotman School of Management, here are some of the top buildings in Toronto.
