It's a girl! Despite a trend for some to go east, Darcy MacDonell (Farmhouse Tavern) has announced plans to open Farmer's Daughter, a "more urban, more modern, and more feminine" restaurant just down the street from Farmhouse's Junction location, as reported by The Grid. Launching in May, Leonie Lilla (Daishō, The Libertine) will run the kitchen and the food "will be a little bit lighter, with more seafood influence." Though the space will be smaller than Farmhouse, it'll have a "slightly larger patio." Bring on the summer. [The Grid]
