Eric Chong, 21, has been crowned the inaugural winner of MasterChef Canada in last night's dramatic finale and saved from a life in chemical engineering. Netting $100,000 for his innovative blend of East meets West cuisine, Chong's win may finally convince his parents that can make it as a chef. With his earnings, Chong plans to open a modern dim sum restaurant in the city. Susur Lee better watch his back. Watch the full episode here.
