CHINATOWNThe real estate agent has confirmed the conditional sale of the El Mocambo, Toronto's legendary music venue on Spadina Avenue. We won't know details of the sale until May 1 but here's what we know today about this almost $4 million dollar property.

LITTLE ITALY— A house that was undergoing extensive renovations collapsed last week after the house was deemed unsafe by city officials (you think?). The property was on the real estate market last year for $925,000 (yes, a fixer-upper for $900K), and the owner claims he did everything by the book. Check out the before photos of the home.

MISSISSAUGA— Want to buy a megamansion this weekend? Here's a 9,000 square foot estate that is going on auction this Sunday. The elaborate house that couldn't sell for almost $6 million is trying to entice buyers with a minimal bid starting at $4 million.

CURBED COMPARISONS— Check out Curbed's regular column that explores what one can rent for a set dollar amount in various Toronto neighbourhoods. Today we visit various city 'hoods like Yonge and Sheppard and Forest Hill to show you what one can rent for $2,000/month.

HOTEL RUMOUR The hotel rumour mill is still circulating with the recent news that the Templar Hotel might be up for power of sale. The newish boutique hotel on Adelaide Street may have defaulted on their mortgage and could now be owned by the bank. It's not looking so much like just a rumour anymore with more details coming.
