A "suspected mob hitman" has been murdered in a "gangland-style hit in broad daylight" outside the members-only Regina Café (formerly Kappa Sports Bar and Grill) in Vaughan. Police believe Carmine Verducci, 56, "was involved in drugs and gambling and connected him to international operations of the 'Ndrangheta crime group," as reported by the Toronto Star.
