A glimpse into Room 403, Bob Blumer's room at The Gladstone Hotel.
Bob Blumer, Food Network Canada producer and host, lives food and now visitors can book a night in his food-themed room at The Gladstone Hotel. Toronto Life can't decide "whether its extremely cool or slightly creepy" but either way, Blumer, also a cookbook writer and visual artist, spared no expense and no food group in the room's design: Weary heads can rest on marshmallow pillows with eyes pointed towards a swiss-cheese ceiling; clothes are stored in the Froot Loops closet; and "photos of food mascots, shot by local photographer Fausta Facciponte, observe the action." If sleeping while being spied on by the Pillsbury Dough Boy, the Trix Rabbit, and Mr. Peanut is on the bucket list, make the reservation now. In the meantime, take the video tour with Blumer.
