Get excited: Tacos El Asador, home to the cities' most authentic Mexican and El Salvadorian cuisine, plans to move across the street from its tiny flagship corner location in Koreatown to open an eighteen-table restaurant that will feature an expanded menu, longer hours, and home delivery. Don't get too excited: as Manager Rene Gonzalez says, "We were thinking of opening a new place at the beginning of summer but we ran into some problems with the building." The move to 689 Bloor St. W. may be delayed but, once it happens, the Gonzalez family thinks they'll continue to operate their current location, where they've been for more than 22 years, as a take-out counter. So, get excited, but not too excited... yet.
