In celebration of Lucullus Bakery's expansion into downtown (31 Elm St at Yonge), The Grid's Karon Liu presents the periodic table of Chinese bakery treats. From savoury to sweet, egg tarts are the trusty standard, but also worthwhile is the more mysterious Swiss Roll (suy-see-guen), the strangely fruitless Pineapple bun (bo-lo-bao), and Curry Beef Triangle (ga-lay-gok).
