I'm betting @barackobama one case of Canadian beer per hockey game this week. #teamusa is good, but #WeAreWinter. #GoCanadaGo @WhiteHouse

As the Canadian men's and women's hockey teams blasted into the Olympic finals last week, Prime Minister Stephen Harper and US President Barack Obama laid down a wager.
Like I said, #teamusa is good but #wearewinter. @BarackObama, I look forward to my two cases of beer. #CANvsUSA #Sochi2014

In both games, Canada skated away victorious and Harper got a bit cocky.
.@HonJohnBaird two close ones! Congrats to #TeamCanada. Making good on my promise:case of @SamuelAdamsBeer on the way pic.twitter.com/RMkPIJlpr8

Obama's errand boy, John Kerry, US Secretary of State, was all class and didn't waste any time in settling the debt. But now, Canada has to figure out a way to share two cases of beer. At this time, party details are in short supply. Does the nation meet up at 24 Sussex? Is Herringbone playing? Will Liberal leader Justin Trudeau bring party favours? Details, please.
