The saga continues between the Canadian Restaurants and Foodservices Association and the foreign-owned The Beer Store, of which questions have been raised regarding the latter's large markups when selling to liquor licensees versus the general public. Toronto Life notes that "[w]ith few exceptions, the markups apply exclusively to brands produced by Molson-Coors, AB InBev and Sapporo[,]" which are the three-foreign owned breweries that own The Beer Store.
