Greenwood Smokehouse may feature Memphis and Carolina-style slow-smoked pork, beef, and chicken, but vegans are not left in a cloud of carnivorous smoke. The new "woodsy" barbecue restaurant on The Danforth also blows its seductive smoke into a selection of vegetable soups, stews, and a vegan burger. But be careful with the cocktail menu: some whiskey-based drinks are "infused with things like triple-smoked bacon and ham hocks." The restaurant is currently in the soft opening stage and plans to officially launch in March. [Toronto Life]
