Chef Francisco Alejandri and Keyvan Foroughi's Agave Y Aguacate is officially open for business and their Facebook page is abuzz with excited eaters. What Toronto Life calls "a permanent reincarnation of the beloved Mexican food stall," formerly stationed in Kensington Market, is sure to keep Toronto's obsession with all things ceviche, flank steak salad, and tostadas alive and kicking. When in town shooting Travel Channel's The Layover back in July 2012, even Anthony Bourdain, irreverent tastemaker and TV kingpin, couldn't get enough of Alejandri's cooking. Bourdain raved: "Some of the most amazing Mexican takeout north of the border—any border. They are moving locations, but catch them wherever they go." That time is now. Get your eat on in Baldwin Village. That is, if you can handle the line-up that will surely form. And if you haven't seen it yet, watch Bourdain's romp around Toronto. The spot on Agave Y Aguacate's former location clocks in at 14:40.
