Follow Friday is a new series that picks one notable person on Twitter and Instagram, plus a Blog, that should be followed for one great reason or another.

Twitter: Eric Wood. The executive chef at The Beverley Hotel lost his Chopped Canada episode last night but he did start a new tradition. While watching the show, he live-tweeted at his restaurant and served visitors the same dishes he made on the show while they were being judged. And he's doing it again next week.

Instagram: Guu Izakaya. Quantity doesn't eclipse quality but Guu Izakaya's overactive Instagramming never lets anyone forget that, with or without you, the party is always going down.

Blog: The Yum Yum Factor. Carole Nelson Brown is a makeup artist who regularly paints the faces of Hollywood's rich and famous. But in her off time, it's her voracious food blogging that has led to regular profiles in the National Post. Striking a causal and affably aggressive tone, Brown just wants to have fun cooking and share her findings with the world. Check it out here.
