A Tonne Of French Onion Soup; Butter And Beer Tarts Launch

LESLIEVILLE – This Sunday, from 10am-2pm, Le Papillon on the Park's Chef Lukas Vyhnal, and his team, will cook one tonne of French Onion soup for The Leslieville's Farmers' Market 3rd Annual Souper-Bowl (get it?) PARKDALEStained Pages Press launches their second publication, Beer and Butter Tarts: A Canadian Literary Food Journal Issue #1, at The Rhino tonight. The book features a series of essays, poems, photography, and art to tell the story of food in Canada. Festivities start at 7pm with readings by contributors Dorianne Emmerton, David Huebert and others.
