Soft Opening

red%20sauce.jpgWhen Acadia shuttered at the end of last year, co-owner Scott Selland announced a complete 180 with the launch of Red Sauce, a wide-appeal, kid-friendly Italian-American restaurant. While mill workers put the finishing touches on the bar, Selland told Eater that "barring no major catastrophes in the next 72 hours," the restaurant will be open as of Monday, from 11am to 2am at 50C Clinton, just north of College St., and feature 50% off all its food through to Tuesday's closing. Red Sauce wants parents to bring their kids, but the negroni draft tap is also a good sign that the party will continue long after they've gone down for the night.
