Toronto's Left Field Brewery is taking over the whole ballpark and have invited everyone to come walk the grounds. Announced on its website this morning, the craft beer operation has secured a 6000 square foot space to build its Leslieville brewery and retail store, expected to open in early 2015. Selections will include their Eephus Oatmeal Brown Ale, Maris* Pale Ale, 6-4-3 Double IPA, and "small format growlers (750ml) of one-off and seasonal brews like Resin Bag IPA."
The news has been greeted with thunderous applause from friends and competitors. To celebrate, the husband and wife team, Mark and Mandie Murphy, have announced an Open House on Saturday February 22nd from 2-8pm to check out the space, "taste the beer," and "meet the owners." RSVP their Facebook invite.
