Nespresso Boutique Bar Now Open; Canoe Wild Dinner

YORKVILLENespresso just opened a new 14,000 square foot location in Yorkville. It's drink-in only so guests will have an opportunity to use the futuristic furniture and admire the coffee-centric artwork: purely decorative espresso machines, graphic prints of coffee cups and a wall featuring a multicolored array of coffee capsules, available in 21 different intensities. The food is French, with staples like croque monsieur with truffle bechamel and mushroom goat cheese quiche, prepared by chef Jean-Charles Dupoire of Le Kensington and Loire. And as for the prices, an espresso and a petit four will run you $6. [Toronto Life]

DOWNTOWN— Check out Canoe Wild, a wilderness themed dinner put on by four of Canada's best chefs. Locals, John Horne and Anthony Walsh, will be teaming up with Montréal chefs Derek Dammann of Maison Publique and Alex Cruz of Société-Orignal to create a menu celebrating Ontario's fall hunt, a menu that will only be revealed the night of the event. The dinner is on Saturday, November 16th from 6:00 to 10:00. Tickets cost $80 and you can get them here. Wine pairings by sommelier Will Predhomme will run you an additional $40. [Eaterwire]
