There's going to be a Chowder Chowdown November 19 at the Distillery District's Fermenting Cellar presented by Vancouver Aquarium's Ocean Wise to determine which chef is the chowder champ.
It's chowder, say it right! Chow-dair... Call it what you will, chowder is delicious. Joining the chowder competition are Ocean Wise chefs who will each make their own chowder. Guests will be able to sample the seafood soups paired with beer and then vote on their favourites.
Tickets cost $50 plus tax (still available online and may be available at the door). The event starts at 7pm tonight.
