Next week, we will present the 2013 Eater Awards, a celebration of all that's made North America's restaurant world run—and run wild—in the past twelve months. Winners will be selected on both the local and national levels in six major categories, the voting for which began Monday with our Restaurant of the Year poll and continued yesterday with our Chef of the Year poll.
Here's how it works: Eater editors have named nominees for the previous categories as well as So Hot Right Now, Bartender of the Year and Stone Cold Stunner, an award for excellence in restaurant aesthetics. Eater readers will vote, narrowing the nominees to three finalists. From those three finalists, the Eater editorial team will select a winner.
Ready to play your part once again? Polls are open now for So Hot Right Now and will close in 24 hours when a new poll will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Voting irregularities will be strictly policed.
