After all its troubles getting back to business, Toronto's beloved Jamaican joint, The Real Jerk, is opening October 5 at its new location in Riverside, right near da beach Gerrard & Carlaw.
First they get booted out of their Queen and Broadview corner, then they get turned away from a Corktown condo, but Real Jerk owner Ed Pottinger and wife kept at it until they secured a new home on Gerrard.
Mourning fans of curried goat may now rejoice as this Jerk is back!
Do you know of any old favourites that are coming back, or even getting a second wind due to a new menu or chef? Send us your tips: toronto@eater.com.
