Beverley Hotel Beefs up its Menu

Beverley Hotel/Facebook

Queen West boutique hotel The Beverley is re-doing its menu and will be releasing it on Tuesday next week. There will be a shift in focus from its existing menu, which includes items like Grande Fromage (ricotta and chutney), Ribbons and Grains (quinoa and "fennel pollen gastrique") and the infamous Vulgar + Sublime (housemade chips with caviar). Though that does sound sublime.

Opened this summer, the Beverley's gastronomic ambitions are set by chef Eric Wood, formerly of the Hawthorne. Sources say his new menu will include heartier, more filling fare like Pekin duck tacos and mussels with Brussels sprouts. There's also rumoured to be a revamped BVRLY burger. Hopefully the chips and caviar will remain.

In the meantime, they start serving brunch tomorrow.
