The Ritz-Carlton Hotel is now featuring a izakaya-style menu at the Ritz Bar, starting October 21. Available Monday through Saturday from 5pm until close, Hapa Izakaya will serve Ocean Wise™ sushi and sashimi by chef Koichi Fujiokasushi, plus Japanese tapas like edamame, tuna carpaccio and goma-ae dressed veggies.
The Ritz Bar at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel makes for a cool after work destination, and its location is also convenient if you need to catch the GO. The bar overlooks David Pecaut Square, and also offers many wines by the glass, plus cocktails and sake.
Hapa Izakaya was voted one of the "Top Five Izakayas In North America" by Bon Appétit Magazine in 2013, and "Best Casual Chain, Silver" by Vancouver Magazine in 2013. As in the izakaya tradition, Hapa will bring a fun atmosphere to the Ritz Bar, along with its Japanese cuisine and Ocean Wise™ ingredients.
