Bloor and Euclid diner The White Brick Kitchen is up to something, and it may be a restaurant makeover. Closed for "filming" from October 10-14, the American comfort food favourite has tweeted that they'll be able to share the excitement soon.

George Brown alumni brothers Stephen and Matthew Howell spent years working in other people's restaurants before opening their own last year. Stephen is formerly of The Stockyards and Jump in particular.
Koreatown isn't exactly the destination of choice for gourmet comfort food like in-house kettle chips, brisket burger, a BLT made with beef bacon, mac-and-cheese, and buttermilk fried chicken. There's even housemade Tater Tots.
